Physiotherapist
Todd Lawrence Stone has been a physiotherapist at Kinatex NDG/CSL since 2017. He specialises in all biomechanical and musculoskeletal issues with expertise in drying needling and manual therapy. Stone is also a part of the physical therapy team at the Grand Ballet Canadian. Stone has a BFA from the State University of New York at Purchase College and Master of Science in Applied Physical Therapy from McGill University. Prior to his current passion of helping his patients achieve their physical health and goal with physical therapy, Stone was a professional modern dancer in NYC for 20 years. During that time, Stone performed in the major theatres throughout the Europe, the United States and Asia. Stone is also an accomplished teacher of post-modern dance and has taught dance throughout the world.
Stone brings his love of movement and anatomy to each of his treatments. When working with patients Stone’s experience and knowledge as a former dancer helps in treating the whole individual along to maximize their treatment. Stone also has long history and knowledge of Pilates, Tai chi, Reiki and the Alexander Technique. As a former dancer who has sustained many injuries, Stone understands the importance of injury prevention with a patient-centered approach. Stone is will be invested to help his patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
