About

Physiotherapist

Laine Roczniak received her B.Sc Physical Therapy from McGill University in 2007. She soon developed an expertise in pediatric physiotherapy, including :

Infant motor development
Treatment of torticollis/plagiocephaly
Hypotonia (muscle weakness)
Developmental coordination disorder
etc..
She mostly works with infants and young children between 0-2 years old. Depending on the condition, she can also see older children, up to 8-13 years old.

With her sense of observation, her patience and her listening skills, she thrives on helping children develop to their full potential, as well as on supporting their families in the process. She believes that not enough parents know about physiotherapy and how it could be beneficial for their child, and her mission is to help put this service on the map.

Laine likes to keep an active lifestyle by chasing after her kids, playing soccer, doing yoga, going out hiking, gardening and knitting (when she needs to relax a little). When she was younger, she wanted to become a marine biologist. Even though we’re sure that she would have made a great biologist, we are truly happy that her path drove her here instead
