Physiotherapist

OPPQ Member

Originally from British Columbia, Kelsey Tompkins’ love for the outdoors and active living is reflected in her approach to physiotherapy. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2014. She has experience working with athletes and the general population in all areas of orthopedics, in both private practice and hospital settings. Although she has developed extensive skills and knowledge treating various conditions, she has a special interest in hand and upper extremity injuries.

Kelsey is passionate about staying up to date with the most current research. Using an evidence-based approach to treatment, she helps her clients attain their individual rehabilitation goals through hands-on, patient-specific care. Her focus is on finding and treating the cause of symptoms to prevent future recurrence. Whether recovering from an injury or looking to prevent one, she works with her clients to create tailored rehabilitation programs that help them return to the activities they love.

Outside of the clinic, this kayak guide and former volleyball athlete enjoys hiking, biking, pilates and yoga. She is passionate about promoting active living and brings this enthusiasm into her physiotherapy practice.
