Occupational Therapist

Chidy has been working in Hand Therapy since 2016 after completing her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at McGill University in 2015. Her career started at the prestigious Roth-McFarlane Hand & Upper Limb Center alongside Canadian pionneers in Ontario, and she then completed the Shrikant Chinchalkar Hand Therapy Fellowship. Over the years, she has honed her expertise in hand rehabilitation in various private clinics, and at the Hand Therapy department at Montreal’s Sacré-Coeur Hospital, treating patients with post-operative & pathological hand and wrist conditions.

Driven by her passion, Chidy successfully became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2022. She remains dedicated to expanding her knowledge & skill through continuing education in order to better care for her patients.

In 2024, she joined the Kinatex Rockland team where she continues to develop her expertise in Hand Therapy by providing state-of-the-art care, education, orthoses, and personalized exercise programs. She also offers somatosensory reeducation for neuropathic pain, and is periodically involved in humanitarian missions to provide her expertise in remote areas.
