Physiotherapist

Alexandra Azoulay obtained her bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy at the University of Montreal in 2001. From her studies, she became passionate about perineal and pelvic rehabilitation, a field that she explored further by completing, in 2013, a 2nd year microprogram. cycle in perineal and pelvic rehabilitation at the University of Montreal. This training allowed her to acquire in-depth expertise in the evaluation and physiotherapeutic treatment of various perineal and pelvic conditions.
For more than 10 years, Alexandra has devoted her practice to a varied clientele at Kinatex, dealing in particular with:
  • Urinary disorders, such as urinary incontinence and urinary urgency.
  • Sexual and vulvovaginal pain.
  • Pudendal neuralgia.
  • Pelvic organ descent.
  • Colorectal disorders, including constipation.
  • Obstetrical issues, perinatal and postpartum monitoring, diastasis of the rectus abdominis.
Always at the forefront of new approaches to pelvic health, Alexandra is constantly perfecting her skills through multiple professional training courses. In parallel with her clinical practice, she worked as a clinician on two research projects at the Incontinence and Aging Laboratory (CRIUGM) under the direction of Dr. Chantale Dumoulin, thus enriching her scientific understanding of pelvic issues. Aware of the taboo that still surrounds pelvic floor muscular dysfunctions, she works to establish a climate of trust. Her mission: to improve the quality of life of her clients by offering them caring support and high-quality care.
