About our clinic
For your rehabilitation needs, Kinatex Sport Physio Varennes, formerly the Clinique de Physiothérapie de Varennes, will meet your requirements. We welcome you in a warm, family atmosphere that combines experience and expertise.
Ms Jeanine Van Vliet, physiotherapist and international osteopathy teacher, founded the Varennes physiotherapy clinic in 1987. Since then, teaching, professional expertise, quality of care and patient well-being have been at the heart of our team’s concerns and priorities.
In 2018, Anik Perreault and Annie Miron, physiotherapists for over 15 years, acquire the clinic. In 2020, the Varennes physiotherapy clinic joins Kinatex Sports Physio, the largest physiotherapy and rehabilitation banner in Quebec with over 50 clinics. Our Varennes clinic continues to offer a warm welcome and care in keeping with the same founding values and concerns.
Our rehabilitation clinic is located in the heart of downtown Varennes at 2082 route Marie-Victorin, local 211. An elevator provides easy access to our premises, including for people with reduced mobility. Our treatments are available without a medical prescription.
The team is made up of physiotherapists, a physiotherapy technologist, osteopaths and a massage therapist who combine their in-depth knowledge and dedication to ensuring your well-being and helping you with a multidisciplinary approach.
Our specialized services are offered by physiotherapy professionals: manual therapy, temporomandibular therapy (TMJ or jaw disorders), vestibular rehabilitation (vertigo and dizziness), pediatric physiotherapy (torticollis), perineal rehabilitation, running rehabilitation, concussion management, physiotherapy with an osteopathic approach and physical and sports rehabilitation.
Our osteopath Christiane Prince has paediatric expertise, working with babies and children. Our osteopaths Annie Barnabé, Tricia Gauthier and Sarah Martin also have expertise in TMJ and sports rehabilitation.
Our massage therapist Steven Wheaton is an experienced professional who masters a variety of massage techniques to meet the specific needs of our clients: Swedish massage; deep-tissue massage; head massage and therapeutic massages.
Altruistic by nature, we are involved with the Charles-Bruneau Foundation and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, as well as with the sports community, supporting ringette and minor field hockey teams.
