Occupational Therapist

Sabina has completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in occupational therapy at the University of Montreal in 2022. In continuing education, she has completed a certification as a specialist in movement and performance therapy. She also has internship experience in pediatrics, in stroke and in hand therapy. Since 2022, she has worked mainly with people suffering from musculoskeletal injuries as well as craniocerebral trauma. Her main clientele includes people with motor vehicle and work accidents. She uses a functional approach involving therapeutic exercises, task simulations and teaching (postural hygiene, body biomechanics, joint protection, energy and pain management strategy). This approach allows the resumption of daily, domestic and professional activities. Sabina greatly values ​​collaboration with the client. Thus, she prioritizes a personalized treatment aimed at achieving important functional objectives for each person. Sabina speaks French and English fluently. On a personal level, she is interested in discovering different countries and cultures. She enjoys traveling, cooking and sports. She has been practicing martial arts as a hobby for several years.
