As a physiotherapist and co-owner at Kinatex Plateau/TJC, Ève Chaput combines a passion for health with an expertise in orofacial pain/TMJ and various musculoskeletal injuries. She is a graduate of University of Montreal in speech pathology and physiotherapy as well as of Western University in comprehensive musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She also holds a Fellowship in manual therapy from CAMPT, a certificate to perform dry needling, the Expert level from the Running Clinic in addition to an expertise in vestibular rehabilitation and in the treatment of peri/postpartum pain.
Her patient-centered treatment philosophy focuses on active listening, effective communication, specific goal setting, and a combination of manual techniques, exercises, dry needling, and education/advice. Ève teaches at UofM, Western University and AQPMA. She also co-founded her own post-graduate training company in physiotherapy EC Physio Formation. She obtained the title of Fellow of the OPPQ in recognition of her sustained commitment. She also received the Carol Kennedy Teaching Excellence Award from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
