About
Physiotherapist
Aïcha Myriam Diarra obtained her master’s degree in physiotherapy at the University of Sherbrooke. First trained in musculoskeletal and vestibular rehabilitation, she then added an expertise in perineal and pelvic rehabilitation.
She mainly works with clients struggling with:
Urinary or bowel incontinence disorders
Pain before, during or after penetration
Post partum issues
Tailbone pain
Aïcha has a natural ability to communicate with clients as well as with the rest of the team. Using clear and precise words, gestures and explanations, she makes sure that each client understands their issues, causes and possible treatments. She believes that it is very important for people to understand the importance of physical health in everyday life and the impact on mental health. Problems affecting the perineum and the pelvic floor are still very taboo: through listening and compassion, she wants to participate in breaking down these walls and helping clients regain their well-being.
In her spare time, Aïcha plays basketball and enjoys running.
