Kinesiology
A kinesiologist is a health professional who specializes in the dynamics of human movement and uses physiological and mechanical based activities for prevention, treatment, and performance. The kinesiologist prescribes exercises to his patients/clients to help them achieve their goals.
They work with clients of all ages, all levels of fitness (beginners to athletes) and all physiological conditions (health problems, illnesses, etc.).
We are proud to have a kinesiologist trained in CPP (CORE and Perineal/Pelvic) as a team member. She specializes in deep muscle training for a variety of clients, from athletes to the sedentary as well as women seeking help during the prenatal and postnatal stages.
‘CPP’ Core and Perineal/Pelvic Program
For the prenatal and postnatal woman, she takes into consideration women’s changing anatomy during pregnancy, so that she can move without experiencing pain or developing complications. The focus will be on deep muscles, posture, and the abdominal wall throughout the prenatal and postnatal follow-up period.

At what point in your life is it relevant to have a CPP follow-up?
- Before and during a pregnancy to help prepare your CORE and abdominal wall to the changes that occur during a pregnancy (prenatal).
- Following a pregnancy to rehabilitate the deep muscles and abdominal wall allowing you to resume normal (daily) and physical activities free of complications (leakage of urine, umbilical hernia, back pain, pubic pain, etc.)
- Following menopause and physiological changes (leakage of urine, loss of muscle mass)
- Before getting back into shape or before increasing your training level following past pregnancies.
- As a result of urinary leakage (even minor) experienced during coughing, laughing, jumping, strength exercises, … (the sedentary, men, women, athletes, …)
- Due to back or posture-related issues (weak deep muscles)
